It's a little tight round the end of the bed but the chair does just about fit under the desk. You can see the Radioactive Man comic which is included on the desk below, and that looks great in my opinion, as do the poster and pinboard on the wall. @chilis I think stickers were a much bigger issue in the 90's and early 00's. Lots of stickers across multiple bricks, which I hated. They try not to do that much anymore (only recent set I've bought that I can think had this was a Lamborghini model).
Stickers also seem to be much better quality now a days too. I got my set today too, but I was at work, and about to eat dinner now. Hopefully building along with you in an hour or two.
I can't believe the show is still on, actually. It can be amusing, but I never watch it regularly. It's not my sort of thing, but I've certainly enjoyed hearing your thoughts and watching the build progress. There's not much to say about the build of the 'house' parts because it's very straightforward.
The most detailed of them all is the kitchen, which includes a colorful backsplash that consists of more than 4,000 pieces, mainly 1x4 LEGO bricks.
